Amanda Byram

Amanda Byram is one of Ireland's biggest exports, she started her career as a model at the tender age of 16 and from there went on to take the TV world by storm. In 1999 she began presenting TV3 morning show Ireland A with Mark Cagney. She then moved to British TV, primarily hosting The Big Breakfast on Ch4 in 2001 for 2 years and then appearing as a guest host on Liquid News on BBC3 in 2002.

In 2003 she hosted the Miss World pageant live from China with The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan and went on to break into the American market. In the U.S. she is best known as the host of the reality TV series Paradise Hotel and The Swan. She also hosted the UK edition of Entertainment Tonight, which aired on Sky One but was filmed in Los Angeles.

In 2007 was co-host along with Dennis Miller, of the GSN (Game show Network) program Grand Slam. Amanda also briefly appeared in David Hewlett's 2006 film A Dog's Breakfast.

Amanda was the host of The Meteor Ireland Music Awards in 2009 and 2010. She is currently hosting the UK version of ABC's Wipeout for BBC1.
