Kevin Fortune

Kevin is a highly regarded make-up artist working across film, television, and stage. He has made up the likes of Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen, Sir Ian McKellen and the Scissor Sisters. Kevin works closely with Alexa Chung, Miquita Oliver and Lauren Laverne. His skills have also been showcased at some of the industries top fashion houses and events, including Giorgio Armani, Benefit Cosmetics and Milan Fashion Week. Kevin's charismatic and charming nature makes him a pleasure to work with and his repertoire of clients attests this.

Kevin trained in 1995 as a make up artist and hair stylist. For the first five years he worked within the fashion industry with a short spell in Milan. Television dramas and then film were next on the agenda, eventually being Head Makeup Designer on the British film SW9 - the follow up to Human Traffic. He has also worked with ELLE Magazine, Stella, British Vogue, Japanese Vogue, and British & Italian Grazia to name a few.

Unable to choose between his two passions of makeup and hair, and fashion and film, Kevin chose to pursue an area where he could be equally expressive with both. Before long he started to work on Popworld and the Johnny Vaughan Tonight show. This opened the door to great opportunities for him to work with a wide selection of artists from the film, music and television industries.

Kevin also leads one day seminars in two top makeup training schools. In addition to this, he is training to be a self development coach and seminar speaker. His goal is to assist in making people feel great from the inside and look fantastic on the outside, with the ethos that makeup and hair should be a way of enhancing the good feelings individuals already have about themselves.
