Perou

The usually bespectacled Perou is one of Britain's best loved and most sought after photographers working worldwide shooting fashion, portraits, bands and commercials.

He has photographed, musicians, politicians, actors, royalty and characters like biker gangs in Japan and drag queens in Namibia.

Perou is an image conscious image maker and thus has a very strong sense of style, often dressing to be noticed. His sometimes strong opinions have lead him to be called ‘the Simon Cowell of fashion'.

As a former model, Perou is also comfortable in front of the camera. Perou's first appearance on television was a cameo on Absolutely Fabulous. In 2003 the BBC made a documentary following Perou as he traveled through Africa shooting stills, called Picture of Africa. Perou has been a judge and mentor on the Channel 5 show, Make Me a Supermodel seasons 1 and 2 in the UK.

Most recently Perou appeared as the judge everyone was talking about on the American version of Make Me A Supermodel, which was broadcast on Bravo. Last year Perou was on ‘Celebrity Weakest Link': the body beautiful episode.

He has also started directing music promos and has recently done videos for KT Tunstall, Marilyn Manson, The 80's Matchbox B-line disaster and Black Box Recorder.
