Steve Jones

Steve Jones

2010 has been a very busy year for Steve. He has travelled to various countries including Vietnam and Austria for the new BBC1 Series Drop Zone; he has ventured up the Amazon with his brother for the Sky One special ‘Jones Brothers Amazon Adventure. Then Mexico was the next on the list for a Nat Geo/BBC3 pilot ‘Wedding Crashers', and then Argentina to film BBC1's amazing new game show, 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow.

Steve leads the presenting team at ‘T4' where he co-hosts ‘T4' Sundays with Rick Edwards, Jameela Jamil and Miquita Oliver.

His career started when Steve was approached by Elle Magazine and asked to do some freelance modelling work.  Steve went on to work in Australia, Korea and London for various clients such as Versace, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Pringles, Adidas, and Coca Cola among others.  It was a natural progression to the screen as Steve's original sense of humour and ability to get the very best out of people made him perfect presenter material.

Steve has saw great success with the late night Channel 4 show, ‘Transmission' now in its fourth series, and presented the marathon show ‘Carling Live 24', also for Channel 4.  Other credits include the Bravo show ‘All About Men', and Channel 5's challenge show ‘99 Things To Do Before You Die'.

He has also worked on many Film Specials for Ch4 - most memorable being Cars and the Pirates of the Caribbean and most recent being Get Smart. During his presenting career he has interviewed Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, George Clooney, Mariah Carey, Will Smith and Christina Aguilera to name but a few.

In 2008 Steve also turned his hand at acting and made his big screen debut on his first feature film. ‘Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, directed by Gurinder Chadha.

2009 has proved to be a very exciting year for Steve so far. He has already covered the 2009 Bafta coverage for E! Entertainment, presented Let's Dance for BBC1 during Comic Relief, and has also presented the exciting new Sky One series  Guinness World Records Smashed!

Steve also filmed a new entertainment panel show for primetime BBC1. As Seen on TV sees Steve hosting alongside team members Fern Brittan and Jason Manford.
