Trim Lamba is a British-Indian writer-director.
His first short ‘CRACKED SCREEN’ released in 2017 to various honours and global press including selection for the 27th Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes Lions; featuring to millions on the Snapchat Discover platform; longlisting for a BIFA for Best British Short; and winning multiple ‘Best Short’ awards worldwide. In 2019, Cracked Screen was acquired for permanent perseveration in the BFI National Archive.
His second short ‘BROKEN NEWS’ premiered at the 63rd BFI London Film Festival in 2019.
Alongside developing longer and short form work, Trim has directed drama for the BBC and was commissioned to create the opening film for the 29th Saatchi and Saatchi NDS in Cannes Lions.
Trim holds BA and Masters degrees in English Literature from University of Oxford and Royal Holloway, University of London.
