Faith Penhale

Faith is passionate about drama and working with writers. She began her career in drama production 20 years ago, and has worked on a broad and varying range of shows; from a BAFTA winning era of EastEnders, to the multi award winning and game-changing espionage series Spooks, to more recently Andrew Davies’ critically acclaimed adaptation of the Leo Tolstoy classic War & Peace.

Faith worked for ten years at Kudos, starting as script editor, then Head of Development, Producer and Executive Producer. She joined BBC Cymru Wales as Head of Drama in 2011. Her track record there included the global phenomenon Sherlock and iconic and much loved Doctor Who, amongst many other authored pieces collaborating with some of the UK’s most exciting writing talent.

Faith has joined LookoutPoint as joint CEO and is currently Executive Producer on Sally Wainwright’s single drama about the lives of the Bronte sisters To Walk Invisible, and Mike Bartlett’s bold new contemporary newspaper drama Press, as well as Andrew Davies’ latest epic, an adaptation of Victor Hugo’s powerful and political Les Miserables. She will also oversee all of the company’s productions and development slate.
