Gina Cronk

Producer

Gina has been a drama producer/executive producer since 1994 producing or executive producing numerous highly successful television dramas within the independent sector and for BBC and ITV.

 

In 2011 she spent a year as acting Head of Drama for the BBC children’s channel CBBC. Between 1997 – 2002 Gina was Head of Drama at Wall to Wall Television working on docu-dramas as well as a slate of drama series. In 2002 she returned to freelance producing. From 1992 to 1994 she was Director of Drama Development within the ITV franchise company Central Films working across 70 hours of commissioned drama programming a year, alongside developing new ideas and attending television markets to foster international co-production partnerships.

 

As well as working throughout the UK, with productions based in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle Gina has also produced or executive produced series and single films shooting in Morocco, France, Germany, Lithuania and Belgium. I has travelled to Cape Town, Auckland, Toronto and Belfast to investigate co-production and facility deals. Gina has worked on many co-productions with companies such as Starz, Freemantle, ZDF and WGBH.
