Kate Sinclair

Kate is currently an Executive Producer in television for the Forge Entertainment Ltd. Prior to this she was at Company Pictures where she was also an Executive Producer. Her own slate includes THE MINIATURIST, THE THREE and THE SPINNING HEART. She specializes in sourcing and developing projects primarily but not exclusively from books.

Previously, she spent ten years in the film industry working for Film 4, UKFC, Free Range Films, Kudos Pictures, Seesaw and Aardman. Notable successes include finding SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, BRICK LANE and SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN as unpublished manuscripts for Film Four and Kudos Pictures.

Prior to this she was an award winning Theatre Director. She trained in Poland at the Stary Teatr followed by an MA at Goldsmith’s in Theatre Director. She worked at the RSC, The Young Vic and the National Theatre in Poland as well as being an Associate Director in two buildings in the UK. She also directed seventeen freelance shows and won the John Fernald Award.

Kate is freelance and also has her own company Feet Films Ltd which currently has a number of feature films in development with the BFI.
