Archie is an Broadcast Award-winning, Olivier-nominated writer and stand up comedian.
He recently adapted Alex Wheatle’s Crongton Knights novel series into CRONGTON for New Pictures / BBC, which won the Broadcast Award for Best Children’s Programme 2026. Archie also co-wrote the 2023 LFF Audience Award-winning film GASSED UP.
A previous pilot for Warp, FURIES, was 3rd on the Britlist 2019.
His work has been produced at the Bush Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Orange Tree Theatre, Royal Court, and in New York at the New Light Theatre.
Archie’s play A PLACE FOR WE was shortlisted for the Bruntwood Prize from a submission pile of 1900 and was also shortlisted for the Alfred Fagon Award. It was staged at the Park Theatre in autumn 2021 and was nominated for an Olivier Award 2022.
