Asad, a queer screenwriter and theatre performer, is working on an original series with The Development Partnership, Project X and Tiny Reparations. His pilot script THE BEAUTIFUL GAYME is in development with Five Acts, and was placed on the 2023 Brit List. He’s also developing an original show with Quay Street Productions. Asad has been in the writers’ room for a Netflix show and the upcoming series LOVESONG for NBCuni. He’s recently been in writers’ rooms for two major new Amazon series as well as working in the room for a new series for Apple. Asad tours as part of Scottee’s award-winning cult theatre show FAT BLOKES.
