Ben Ockrent is an award-winning writer, director and executive producer for theatre, film, television and radio. For TV and film, Ben currently has projects in development in the UK with Warp Film/Cornerstone Pictures; Ruby Rock and Tall Story. Previous TV work includes projects in the US for Showtime/Universal, FX, Lionsgate and Paramount/Anonymous Content; and in the UK for Channel 4, BBC, ITV and Comedy Central. For theatre, Ben’s new play, RELICS, will premier at the Lyric Hammersmith theatre in the spring of 2026, produced by Francesca Moody (Fleabag, Baby Reindeer) and directed by Michael Longhurst (Constellations). Previous theatre work includes plays for Neal Street; the National Theatre; the Other Palace; The Tricycle Theatre, including his play, HONEY, which was nominated for an Olivier Award as a part of their GREAT GAME season. Ben has written and directed two short films, DUST (starring Alan Rickman), and EDMUND THE MAGNIFICENT (starring Sir Ian McKellen), both of which were long-listed for the BAFTA.
