Marek Horn is a playwright and screenwriter.
His theatre credits include: OCTOPOLIS (Hampstead Theatre Downstairs, 2023); YELLOWFIN (Southwark Playhouse, 2021), WILD SWIMMING (2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Bristol Old Vic and UK tour).
His plays are published by Nick Hern Books.
In television, he has written on RIVALS (Disney+), and THE GIRLFRIEND (Amazon). He was also part of the writing team for the next series of THE NIGHT MANAGER (BBC/Amazon).
He has been a writer on attachment at Bristol Old Vic, the National Theatre Studio, and the RSC. He is a Creator in Residence at BBC Studios, and he is one of the current winners of the Film4/Peggy Ramsay commission, writing a new play for Hampstead Theatre.
His latest radio play, THE MARKOV FILE, for BBC Radio 4, starred Christopher Eccleston and Simon McBurney.
Marek is working on various television and film projects, including THE FOREIGN DESK for Riff Raff Entertainment, and has projects in development with Two Cities, Brightstar, House, the BBC, DNA, and Netflix.
