Olivia Lee is an award-winning writer with a proven track record of creating and writing her own television and film projects. She currently has multiple scripted projects in development with leading UK and US production companies and broadcasters.
Her feature screenplay Pardon The Interruption has gained international recognition winning multiple awards. The script is a Winner at the Hollywood Best Indie Film Awards, Prague Screenplay Awards, Berlin International Screenwriting Festival, Barcelona Indie Awards, Rome Prisma Film Awards, and Hollywood International Indie Screenplay Awards. It has also received an Honourable Mention from the New York Script Awards and been an Official Selection at the International World Film Awards, Stage Script Film Competition, Red Movie Awards, and Budapest Movie Awards.
In television drama, Olivia’s original series Break is currently under option with Chx. She is also developing the drama Hysterical with RangaBee, with Naomi Harris, Jameela Jamil, and Romesh Ranganathan attached to star, and the original drama Grace & Grit with Clelia Mountford at Sunburnt Penguin.
Alongside her writing career, Olivia is an established comedian on the UK comedy circuit and a well-known face of television comedy. She has created and fronted multiple original series for Channel 4 and Comedy Central, including; Balls of Steel, Olivia Lee’s Naughty Bits and Olivia Lee: Dirty, Sexy, Funny. She also wrote and performed a recurring comedy slot on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and went on to develop her own US comedy pilot for truTV, The Olivia Lee Show, produced by Ben Stiller through his company Red Hour.
