Brad Birch is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter from mid Wales. His work has been produced many times around the world and has premiered in the UK, US, Japan, Russia, Germany, Spain, Italy and Malta. In 2013, he was awarded an Edinburgh Fringe First, and in 2016, he was awarded the prestigious Harold Pinter Commission at the Royal Court. His plays include Falkland Sound, Missing People, The Brink, Black Mountain, Even Stillness Breathes Softly Against A Brick Wall, Tender Bolus, The Endless Ocean and Gardening for The Unfulfilled and Alienated, as well as adaptations of An Enemy Of The People and Spring Awakening. His first anthology, Plays One, was published in 2018. His plays are published by Methuen Drama and Nick Hern Books. Alongside his theatre work, he is developing a number of original feature film projects for Film4, Meduza Meduza, Escape Plan and Duck Soup.
