Lily Bevan


Lily’s writing work includes ‘Dances with Dogs’ (with Sally Phillips, Leicester Square Theatre), ‘The Guide’ (Screenplay, co-written with Emma Thompson), ‘Cafe Red’ (Trafalgar Studios) which is also being developed into a comedy pilot with Leftbank, ‘Stephen & The Sexy Partridge’ (co-written with Finnian O’Neill, Trafalgar Studios), ‘Dungeness’ a pilot for Kudos, ‘The People of the Town’ (RADA), ‘Avocado’ (co-written with Bekah Brunstetter), ‘A Stab In The Dark’ (Kings Head Theatre / Playwrights Horizons, NYC), ‘In Seine’ (Winner, Monmartre Dionysia) and was in The Writers Room for new comedy series ‘I Live With Models’ (Feb 2015 15 tx) for Roughcut / Comedy Central.


She is the Artistic Director of The London Collective Theatre.


Lily trained at RADA. Acting credits include ‘A Voyage Round My Father’ (Donmar Warehouse / Wyndham’s Theatre) and ‘Kindertransport’ (Shared Experience). Lily also attended Ecole Phillipe Gaulier and The Royal Court Young Writers Programme.


Her play ‘Mock Tudor’ was performed at the Pleasance at Edinburgh festival 2014 and a run  at Theatre 503 in September 2014 and is currenyly under option to Kudos to be developed as a tv comedy.


Lily was shortlisted for the Funny Women Awards 2014, on August 15th.


Her new show, performed in Edinburgh Fringe 2015 at the Underbelly was  a solo talking head / sketch show called ‘Pheasant Plucker’. She has most recently written a radio series with Sally Phillips and will record it for Radio 4 at the end of this year.
