Rawaed trained at RADA, and was also part of the OPEN DOOR programme, graduating in 2023. He immediately booked a semi-regular on BBC show NIGHTSLEEPER, which was released in 2024. From London with Syrian heritage, he has a beautiful complexity about him and an ability to completely transform on stage with a real talent for comedy. Last year he starred as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at The Globe, leading to him being shortlisted for this year’s Ian Charleson award. He has just finished in Vincent in Brixton at The Orange Tree, and has just opened in Mother Courage at The Globe. He is also being awarded the 2026 San Wanamaker Young Artist Award.
