SOPHIE KEAN was most recently seen starring in THE PLOT at Summerhall for the Edinburgh Fringe. The production was highlighted by The New York Times as one of the festival’s standout shows.
Prior to this, she played ‘Sophie’ in Emma Howlett’s AETHER at the Jermyn Street Theatre, earning a five-star review from the Telegraph, which hailed her as “clearly a star in the making.” She also collaborated with Howlett starring as ‘Juliane’ in the critically acclaimed HER GREEN HELL, which enjoyed runs at Summerhall and the VAULT Festival before touring to the Theatre Royal Plymouth and Theatre Royal Bath.
Other stage work includes: SCENES FOR JOHN at the National Theatre Studio, POOR NAPOLEON at the Old Red Lion, and MY MASTER BUILDER directed by Michael Grandage.
Sophie graduated with a BA in English from the University of Cambridge and holds an MA in Actor and Performer Training from Rose Bruford College. She is also an alumna of the National Youth Theatre.
