Vivian Oparah recently wrapped shooting the lead role in THE ROOTS MANOEUVRE, her first studio feature, with Toni Colette. Her breakout role of ‘Yas’ in the feature RYE LANE (Searchlight, BBC, BFI, DJ Films), directed by Raine Allen-Miller, premiered at Sundance 2023. For that performance Vivian won Breakthrough Performance at the British Independent Film Awards 2023,and has been nominated for Leading Actress at the BAFTA Film Awards 2024. Vivian has also been announced as a BAFTA Breakthrough 2023.
