Sian Welby has firmly cemented herself in the worlds of TV, Radio and Social.

Sian currently hosts the Capital Breakfast team alongside Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay and can be heard every weekday 6am-10am. Prior to this, Sian hosted her own Heart FM evening show from 2017 till March 2020, as well as her own Sunday morning show, also on Heart FM. Sian’s skills as a live presenter have been proven in every job she undertakes. She is the on-going host of BBC One’s Snapchat channel and in 2018 Sian also hosted the UK version of HQ Trivia, the live trivia game show that originally took the US by storm.

She spent half of 2017 jetting off around the world to host Channel 5’s Formula E: Street Racers Magazine show – The home of electric car racing but from 2010 – 2016 Sian was the daily face of Channel 5 weather and The Health Lottery. Along with this, Sian has also hosted numerous sports programmes, including Channel 4’s six-part cycling show, The Revolution, the Rugby World Cup for ESPN, and, the PGA Euro Pro Golf Tour for Sky Sports. Sian also recently hosted Goodwood Revival.

She has made headlines across the globe, and has become one of the world’s most recognisable weather presenters thanks to her creative comedy forecasts which have racked up over 10 million views online – something which has cemented her in that world of social media and online coverage – she sees the importance in bridging both online and offline and has been featured by BBC Radio 1, TIME magazine, Comedy Central, the New York Times, Entertainment Weekly and MTV, to name but a few.

She has been named as a leading presenter on social media at the #FurtherFaster conference, hosted by Twitter and she continues to work up fresh and engaging ideas and content for her own Snapchat and Instagram channel.

A fantastic live presenter, Sian has hosted numerous live events on digital platforms such as the 2016 BRIT Awards behind-the-scenes footage for Twitter, and the more traditional two-day live event that is Goodwood Festival of Speed for Red Bull. She has also worked with global brands such as Microsoft, Disney, Electronic Arts, Nando’s and Jack Wills.
