Zanna Van Dijk
Zanna van Dijk is a London-based, Yorkshire-born qualified personal trainer, blogger, vlogger and co-founder of the sustainable swimwear brand Stay Wild Swim. She explores topics related to fitness, food, travel, lifestyle and environmental issues across her blog and social media platforms and is dedicated to providing education and evidence-based information to her audience. Zanna is passionate about empowering women and is on a mission to educate as many people as possible about how to look after their bodies in a balanced, enjoyable and sustainable way; and discusses these topics on the BBC podcast Fit & Fearless she co-hosts with the #GirlGains.
Zanna is also ardently committed to raising awareness of the global plastic waste crisis and issues surrounding sustainability. She has collaborated with Chilly’s to release her own reusable water bottle, designed to reduce our dependency on single use plastics, and this year she presented a mini documentary series with BBC Earth titled “A Plastic Planet” which highlights the serious threat our current plastic consumption is having on the environment. Most recently, she was shortlisted for the Cosmopolitan Influencer of the Year award, for using social media to raise awareness of global issues.
She hosts and speaks at various events such as Facebook, Google, The Telegraph and most recently the United Nations, where she was invited to talk about utilising social media to enable positive change. Zanna is an adidas global ambassador and has been the headline act for Balance Festival three years running, and hosts her own sell-out retreats both in the UK and internationally.
