Brian Kelly

Director

Brian Kelly is a television director who works across the UK and USA.  He’s directed episodes for multi-award-winning shows including Downton Abbey, Dracula, and Outlander. Brian was lead director on the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood; the series won a number of awards including a BAFTA Cymru for Best Drama Series and Best Actress for Eve Myles. In 2015 he directed episodes for the Tony Krantz show Blood & Oil for ABC and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man for Sky One. Brian was lead director on The Loch: a new 6 part murder mystery for ITV by Stephen Brady, starring Laura Fraser. Recently, Brian directed Sky Original Drama Curfew, starring Sean Bean and Adrian Lester, and The Watch – BBC America’s original eight-part series inspired by Sir Terry Pratchett’s bestselling Discworld books.
