Faye is a BAFTA nominated writer / director of broadcast drama and film which often focuses on characters under extreme pressure struggling or striving against the odds.
She has recently directed VIGIL (World Pictures / BBC) and previously directed MAIGRET (Playground / PBS), THE TOWER (Mammoth Screen / ITV) and THE BAY (Tall Story Pictures / ITV).
She wrote and directed a Microwave commissioned feature film ZERO (BBC Films / BFI / Film London) which was broadcast on BBC in 2025 and told the story of two sisters escaping their brother across a dystopian, teenage patriarchal world; https://vimeo.com/
Her previous short drama films often focuses on the challenges of young people and have been commissioned by BFI, Channel4, FilmFour and screened at major festivals across the world. Her graduation film DOG from Bournemouth Film School won the David Altshal award for filmmaking, her short film PERDIE was BAFTA nominated, HARD LITTLE MAN won an Orange/FilmFour prize and THE LINE premiered at Palm Springs film festival https://vimeo.com/
In 2021 Faye was selected as one of Film London Lodestars celebrating talent, outstanding creativity and craftsmanship. She has been mentored by both Saul Dibb and Danny Boyle.
Previously Faye has also series produced factual and current affair documentaries for Economist Films and shot / produced / directed documentaries all over the world from Ch4 Dispatches, to a flagship Discovery medical series, as well as online factual content for VICE and YouTube. Prior to that Faye worked for 10 years with vulnerable and at risk groups of young people enabling them to make films about their lives.
