Shaun Wilson directed one episode of Rosehaven season one, and has gone on to direct half of seasons two and three. In between he’s directed the second season of Shaun Micallef’s The Ex-PM, and has also directed four episodes of the new UK/Australian co-production Frayed.
Meanwhile, he’s developing new shows with a variety of writers, with funding from Screen Tasmania and ABC. He is the co-founder of production company Sky Machine, through which he co-created and directed Noirhouse, an ABC iview comedy series that picked up a slew of awards including Best Director at both Melbourne Webfest 2014 and Webfest Montreal 2015, and was nominated for Best Online at the 2016 Australian Director’s Guild awards. Shaun sits on the board of Wide Angle Tasmania and is a founding member of the Tasmanian Filmmakers Alliance.
