Elliot graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2015 with a BA hons in Acting. He has created his own work since then, including his first play Flesh and Bone which he wrote, co-directed and starred in. He won several awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017, including a Scotsman Fringe First for ‘outstanding new writing’. The show was developed by the National Theatre Studio and transferred to Soho Theatre in July 2018 where it was nominated for 5 Off West End Awards, including Best Production and Best Playwright for Elliot. In 2019 Flesh and Bone won the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre.
Elliot created and starred in a mini webseries, Stick Up, which has so far gained over 12 million views.
Elliot is one of the winners of Hat Trick Productions’ new writing scheme ‘Your Voice Your Story’, and is currently developing a series with them. He is under commission for a number of new television ideas.
