Jago IrwinJames is a London-based writer from Connecticut who works in TV, audio, and video games. He recently wrote Wraith for BBC Radio 4 and Limelight. His improvised mystery thriller The Margate Murders was the Guardian’s podcast of the week and was nominated twice at the 2025 British Audio Awards. Its German-language adaptation Die Toten von Norden is now out on Audible. James wrote on an unreleased video game for Fishlabs in 2023 and is currently developing several scripted TV projects. He has also worked in unscripted TV development for Barcroft Studios, ITV Daytime, and Cineflix. He studied English at Cambridge and received a MSt in Creative Writing from Oxford in 2020. He has lived in the UK for over ten years.
