Josh Pugh

Josh Pugh is an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated comic, actor and writer. His channel 4 comedy Blap ‘Stepping Up’ was further developed into a sitcom that Josh writes and stars in, coming out on Ch4 in 2026. He wrote and starred in his own short for the BBC, ‘I am Darren’.

Josh toured ‘Sausage Egg Josh Pugh Chips and Beans’ and ‘Existin’ La Vida Loca’ to sell out crowds around the UK and Australia. Josh will tour his new show ‘Ha Ha, Yeah Sound’ in 2026 in venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall and London’s Eventim Apollo.

In 2025 Josh wrote and appeared on a new sketch show from Mitchell & Webb, and appeared on ‘How Are You? It’s Alan (Partridge)’. He has appeared in ‘Power of Parker’, ‘Sneakerhead’, and upcoming feature film ‘Finding Emily’.

His TV appearances include Live At The Apollo, Big Fat Quiz of Everything, Would I Lie to You, QI, Hypothetical, Question Team, Unforgivable, Live at the Moth Club and Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza. Josh was also a host at the Paralympic Games in Paris.

Impressively, Josh has played for England’s Partially Sighted football team for the past 10 years and played in 3 World Championships. He has 50 caps for England.
