Milly Thomas

Milly is a writer and actor. She has recently adapted and executive produced two series of Erik Axl Sund’s thriller ‘The Crow Girl’ as two 6 part series for Paramount+ with Buccaneer Media, starring Eve Myles, Katherine Kelly, and Dougray Scott. Series 1 TX’d on Paramount+ in January 2025 and was immediately recommissioned. Series 2 TX’d on Paramount+ in July 2026. She recently wrote on the upcoming third season of The Night Manager (BBC/Amazon). She is currently writing an episode for a new Sky show for New Pictures, and is working on projects for Fifth Season, Motive Pictures, Lookout Point, Neal Street Productions, and Bad Wolf. Milly is also co-writing a biopic of Madame Tussaud with Andy Serkis for The Imaginarium.

Her past television credits include ‘River City’ and ‘Clique’ for the BBC. She has been in writers’ rooms for HBO in the US, New Pictures, The Ink Factory, Tiger Aspect, Balloon Entertainment, Nevision, Pure Grass Films, and Brown Eyed Boy. She has taken part in the Channel4 4Screenwriting, Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab, ‘Headstart’ a group of playwrights assembled by Headlong & Blacklisted Films and is a member of BFI Network x BAFTA Crew and BAFTA connect. She was named as one of Deadline Hollywood’s Rising Brits to watch in 2020.

Milly’s play Dust ran at The Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, with Milly receiving the Stage Edinburgh Award for her performance. Dust transferred from a sold out Edinburgh run to the Soho Theatre and then to the West End’s Trafalgar Studios in 2018, where it was nominated for best Off-West End performance and Best New Play at the Off-West End awards. Dust then transferred to The New York Theatre Workshop in 2019 where it received the critic’s pick of The New York Times.
