Ottilie is screenwriter and director, with a strong interest in female-driven dramas, both contemporary and historical. Ottilie started reading scripts at Heyday Films and Cascade Media Development, before becoming a script editor on shows such as BBC’s WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION. She has written four episodes for the popular show VICTORIA (ITV/PBS) and her episode KING ACROSS THE WATER received the second season’s highest ratings. She is currently developing projects with Eleven Film and Black Sheep Films and her original TV series SUSPENDED, about an illicit relationship, is optioned with Longboat Pictures. She has worked as a writer on TV series for Heyday Films and is now adapting the biography THE CURSE OF BEAUTY for Riley Keough’s LA-based production company Felix Culpa. She is represented in America by CAA, after an agent watched Ottilie’s debut short film; JEWELS (2017) stars Nell Hudson (OUTLANDER) and was nominated for best actress and best supporting actress at the 2018 British Independent Film Festival.
