Writer and BAFTA-winning actress, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has become one of the most sought-after talents in the UK.
In 2016 she had two original series air: CRASHING on C4 and FLEABAG on BBC3/Amazon. She starred in and garnered critical acclaim for both.
FLEABAG became one of the most talked and written about shows of the year and was seen on many ‘End of Year’ lists including The Guardian’s, where it was their choice for the 2nd Best TV show of the Year. It was nominated by the US Critic Choice TV awards for Best Comedy and Phoebe for Best Actress as well as picking up a WGGB Award for Best TV Comedy, several Broadcast Awards, and a BAFTA for best actress in a comedy.
She followed up FLEABAG by writing KILLING EVE for BBC America where it not only received unanimous acclaim but became the only show in more than a decade to increase its viewership week on week. In the UK it went out on BBC iPlayer where it has also broken records for most requests in its first 7 days than any previous iPlayer boxset. It has since been nominated for a Golden Globe, an Emmy and won the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Series.
Phoebe is represented for acting by Aileen McEwan at Hatton McEwan Penford.
