Since 2016, Steve Jones has been the lead TV presenter for Channel 4’s Formula 1 coverage.

Steve started in media as a model, but became an instantly recognisable and sought after broadcaster as one of the main presenters of the popular T4 for Channel 4, which he hosted for 7 years.

He went on to present Guinness World Records Smashed (SkyOne) and a wide range of shows for the BBC, including 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow, Let’s Dance (with Claudia Winkleman) and As Seen On TV (BBC).

In 2011, Steve presented the US version of X Factor. On his return to the UK, Steve hosted the BBC’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief. 

Steve also hosted the BBC Three six-part series Hair, a competition to find Britain’s best amateur hair stylist, as well as E4’s live dating show Young, Free & Single LIVE. He went on to co-present the long running Waitrose Weekend Kitchen, a Saturday morning breakfast show for Channel 4.

When his Formula 1 schedule allows, Steve demonstrates his versatility across a range of presenting roles, including two series of Animal Rescue Live and a property show, Perfect House, Secret Location for Channel 4.Steve’s debut novel, Call Time, was published by Penguin in May 2023 and his second novel, Terminally Kill, was published in July 2024.
