Dries Vos

Belgian director Dries Vos (29 March 1980) directed hugely successful TV formats such as What If?  (What If?, International Emmy Award for Best Comedy 2014), Safety First and De Biker Boys. In December 2016 his first feature film Allemaal Familie premiered in Belgian cinemas. Bad Trip, his second feature, followed in 2017.

2018 saw the release of successful TV series De Dag (The Day), which Dries co-directed. De Dag was sold to over 33 countries and claimed to be ‘The best Belgian TV-serie’. De Dag won several festivals, such as Best European Series on Festival de La Fiction Télé La Rochelle.

In 2020, Dries was the pilot and series director of the English language remake of the critically-acclaimed Belgian drama Professor T for ITV/PBS, after which he went on to direct all of Suspect for Channel 4, starring the likes of James Nesbitt, Niamh Algar, Joely Richardson and Richard E Grant.

He is now in the edit for season 2 of Professor T for ITV, all of which he directed.
