Georgia Green is a director and playwright from London.
She is currently the Carne Associate Director at the Orange Tree Theatre. She is currently Associate Director on the Olivier Award winning production of Into the Woods at the Bridge Theatre, and her production of Vincent in Brixton at the Orange Tree Theatre recently completed its run to great reviews.
She was previously Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio and a Staff Director on The Grapes of Wrath and Infinite Life, for the National Theatre.
Her work as director includes, The Winslow Boy and Gloria for RADA; The Get for BBC Radio 3, The EU Killed My Dad at Jermyn Street Theatre; Invisible at the Bush Theatre and 59E59, New York; Ruckus at Southwark Playhouse, Summerhall and on UK tour; Pilgrims at GSMD; Three Sisters, Blue Stockings and You Got Older for LAMDA; Human Animals for RWCMD; Twelfth Night for ALRA; Parliament Square for Rose Bruford; and OUTSIDE and The Mikvah Project at the Orange Tree Theatre and BBC Radio 4.
As assistant or associate director: Emilia for LAMDA; Dirty Crusty at The Yard; Amsterdam (also ATC and Theatre Royal Plymouth), Out of Water and The Double Dealer at the Orange Tree; and Zog at The Rose, Kingston + UK tour.
She has been a lead facilitator at Cardboard Citizens and a visiting tutor on the MFA in Directing and Acting at LAMDA.
