Michael Samuels

Director

Michael Samuels is an award-winning director who directed the Channel Four adaptation of William Boyd’s Any Human Heart. The mini series, which starred Jim Broadbent, Matthew Macfadyen, Sam Claflin and Gillian Anderson, won a BAFTA for Best Drama Series. Michael also won an RTS for Best Single Drama for The Curse of Steptoe made for the BBC. More recently he directed Man In An Orange Shirt starring Vanessa Redgrave for the BBC, which won the 2018  International Emmy for Best Mini-Series/TV Movie.
