Claire McCarthy

Producer

Specialising in comedy, particularly taking series from development through to transmission, Claire is an experienced producer with over 16 years of credits across single camera, sketch, studio sit-com, development and commissioning. Most recently she produced the critically-acclaimed live Halloween special of Inside No 9 on BBC2; and in 2017 won a BAFTA for Best Comedy for Class Dismissed, a 12 part mockumentary-sketch show that she series produced for CBBC.

Claire has extensive experience of working with both new and established acting, writing and presenting talent; and an in depth knowledge of compliance, editorial and legal issues, especially those concerning public service broadcasters, live transmission and children.
