Rachel co-developed and co-wrote, with Sasha Hails, the CBBC adaptation of Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers (13 x 25’, a Canadian co-production dir. Bruce McDonald and Rebecca Rycroft). Prior to this, Rachel and Sasha developed and wrote the critically-acclaimed BBC1 adaptation of Wilkie Collins’ The Moonstone (2016, dir. Lisa Mulcahy). They currently have two original series in funded development with UK broadcasters. Rachel also co-created (with Tahsin Guner) and wrote the worldwide hit BBC1 mystery series Father Brown, now in its eighth series. In 2018-19, Rachel was on the writing team for Marcella S3 (ITV) and Yellow Bird psycho-thriller adaptation Sanctuary. Recent development projects include The Drowned (Kindle) and How Green Is My Valley? (South Shore / C5). Rachel has worked extensively in BBC Continuing Drama including as a core writer on EastEnders and Casualty.
